Betty Barclay Reflective Detail Winter Coat | Navy

Betty Barclay Reflective Detail Winter Coat | Navy

This is one of those coats that gets so many things right.

Warm, practical and beautifully streamlined, this Betty Barclay coat has a flattering longer length with a cosy fleece lining, a fixed peaked hood and generously sized pockets. There’s also a secure inside pocket for the things you really don’t want to lose.

But our favourite detail? The reflective trim.

A reflective strip runs alongside the front zip, with additional reflective detailing to the hood and cuffs, helping you to be seen when you’re out and about after dark. Brilliant for winter walks, evening dog walks or simply getting home on those days when it seems to be dark by teatime. Let them see you coming!

The two-way front zip is another clever touch, allowing you to open the coat from the bottom when sitting, driving or simply when you want a little more room to move.

The fixed hood is properly useful too. It’s a good size, adjustable and peaked to give you extra protection when the weather turns.

Why we love it:

• Reflective detailing for extra visibility after dark
• Warm fleece lining
• Practical two-way front zip
• Fixed, adjustable peaked hood
• Generous front pockets
• Secure inside pocket
• Longer length for extra coverage
• Smart, streamlined shape

With a MRRP of £230, this is a considered purchase, but we think it’s a very good one. This isn’t a coat you’ll wear occasionally. It’s the one you’ll grab for cold mornings, dog walks, shopping trips, weekends away and dark winter evenings, year after year.

Warm, practical and easy to wear, it’s the sort of coat that will earn its place in your wardrobe very quickly.

A proper winter coat, made to earn its keep.
