Tolani Aster Shirt

The Aster Shirt from Tolani is an absolute showstopper. A dramatic floral and paisley print brings vivid scarlet red to a deep black ground, picked out with intricate ivory detailing. It’s bold, sophisticated and gloriously confident.

And then there are those sleeves.

The Aster has a fabulous, full balloon sleeve, gathered into a deep patterned cuff to create real volume and drama. It completely transforms the silhouette of the shirt and makes even the simplest outfit feel special. The beautiful border detailing continues around the collar and down the button-through front, framing the print and giving the whole piece a wonderfully considered finish.

Wear it with black trousers for maximum impact, or simply add your favourite jeans and let the Aster do absolutely everything else. It’s a genuine statement shirt, but because the palette is predominantly black, red and ivory, it’s remarkably easy to style.

Made from 100% viscose, it feels soft and fluid against the skin, allowing those fabulous sleeves to drape rather than feel stiff or bulky.

A little about Tolani

Founded by designer Alka Tolani, Tolani is a beautiful brand inspired by travel, heritage, colour and traditional craftsmanship. Its distinctive prints and richly detailed designs have a wonderfully global influence, with pieces carefully made in India.

Tolani has built an international following and has been worn by names including Sarah Jessica Parker, Ariana Grande and Kylie Jenner, but what we love most is the combination of beautiful fabrics, extraordinary colour and genuinely wearable design.

A note on fit

Tolani is generously cut. As a general rule, we recommend sizing down by one size. If you would normally wear a 10, for example, we would suggest trying the 8. You’ll still retain the relaxed silhouette and, importantly with the Aster, all that wonderful sleeve volume.
