Tolani Aster Dress

The Aster Dress from Tolani is quite simply a showstopper. Dramatic without being overpowering, it combines vivid scarlet florals with intricate ivory paisley detailing against a deep black ground, creating a dress that feels both striking and beautifully sophisticated.

What makes the Aster particularly special is the placement of the print. The patterned borders run vertically through the centre of the dress, around the high neckline and cuffs, and again at the hem, creating long, elegant lines that frame the bold florals beautifully.

The silhouette is wonderfully feminine, with a self-tie belt to define the waist as much or as little as you like, while the softly gathered lower skirt adds movement without adding bulk. Wear the belt neatly tied at the waist for a more defined shape, loosen it for an easier silhouette, or remove it altogether and let the dress fall more freely.

Long sleeves and that gorgeous higher neckline give it a wonderfully polished feel. Add black boots for an effortless autumn look, or dress it up with heels and jewellery for dinner, an occasion or anywhere you fancy making a bit of an entrance.

Made from 100% viscose, the fabric is soft and fluid with beautiful movement.

Founded by designer Alka Tolani, Tolani is a beautiful brand inspired by travel, heritage, colour and traditional craftsmanship. Its distinctive prints and richly detailed designs have a wonderfully global influence, with pieces carefully made in India.

Tolani has built an international following and has been worn by names including Sarah Jessica Parker, Ariana Grande and Kylie Jenner, but what we love most is the combination of beautiful fabrics, extraordinary colour and genuinely wearable design.

A note on fit

Tolani is generously cut. As a general rule, we recommend sizing down by one size. If you would normally wear a 10, for example, we would suggest choosing an 8. It will still give you the beautiful, relaxed silhouette intended, with the tie belt allowing you to adjust the shape to suit you.
